I was searching on here for those names but I didn't see squat-- does that mean either Milestone or PGLA (aka Prime Global Leaders Academy or PGL Academy) finally came through and paid everyone? Since even a week after I had heard no good news, not even the Korean TA's had been paid!! And they didn't even have to deal with Milestone~~ and Mr. Jang at PGLA had stopped answering his phone. It didn't look good.

But if they never came through with the money, surely there would be some warnings on the Internet, and especially on Dave's, so others wouldn't get burned by the same people...right?

But whether anyone got paid or not, if anyone is considering working at a winter camp or summer camp for Milestone and/or PGLA...just be aware that their first summer camp in 2007 didn't go well. On the last day of the camp, when EVERYONE was supposed to be paid, NO ONE was, and almost everyone had to leave the next day to go back to the U.S. empty-handed. And they had all paid for at least half of the plane ticket. And were not allowed to get the proper work authorization. So anyone considering a winter or summer camp or know anyone who is: 1) make sure they give you a work visa (I think C4 is the short-term work visa) 2)don't pay for your ticket 3)have a plan B if they try to stiff you at the end...maybe a few Korean debt collectors phone numbers would be handy... Alas, all those teachers were Korea first-timers, so not likely to know about this site. The next batch probably won't, either.... Sad

Well that sucks. Umm does anyone know these guys? Wanta take out some baseball bats and school 'em good?

Or maybe we should just go with a stern warning to newbies: DO NOT TAKE BAD JOBS!!! (there, problem solved)
