DO not forget that the ratings the bank use are slightly different then the Exchange rate on the market.

Gee, some recruiter on here told me that after requiring us to all get background checks and return home for an E2 every year, the Korean gov't is also planning to put a lock on our savings accounts so we can't bring any money home with us. Laughing

It's quoted at 930 Won to the US dollar today on XE.com

It appears the US dollar is losing strength these days so I would expect it to continue to take fewer won to buy those greenbacks.

That's the amount it would take to BUY dollars from a bank. If you wanted to sell your dollars, you'd get much less. Closer to 900.
