I watched the whole video and I saw no puff of smoke in the grassy knoll.

I was wondering when they would publish some photos. I really hope they (or the new Chinese mission) images the Apollo 11 site. That should shut up the moon hoax idiots.

Ha. It won't, of course.

What are you talking about? The mere fact that the Japanese chose not to image the site clearly and inarguably proves that NASA's mission was a hoax.

Exactly. They know who butters their bread. However, the chinese who have their own moon mission sure would be delighted if they could show the USA never got to the moon and then lay claim to being the first nation to walk on the moon.

It would be nice if they could but Selene/Kaguya is just a wee bit too out of range to do so (there's a tiny possibility if the Sun is at just the right position I think):

Quote:

In 2007 Japan will be launching its own Moon probe SELENE, carrying three types of cameras to take pictures of the surface of the Moon. One of the three cameras is for taking pictures of geographic shapes and will be able to take pictures up to a resolution of 8 metres per pixel.

So how big was the size of the Apollo lander then? Apollo only left the bottom part (the lower module) on the Moon, and this is 1.5 m.

Other objects left on the Moon are the moon rovers; as an example the size of the one for Apollo 17 was 3.1 m.

SELENE won't be able to resolve these blah blah blah...

One sole possibility would be to take a picture of the Moon during the morning or evening (i.e. just when the sun is right next to the horizon). If that happens the longer shadows can be seen and at least we'll know that something's there. However, for this as well, whether it's a rock or a remainder of the Apollo mission, it's extremely difficult to tell.

The Chinese mission (just launched two weeks ago and just arrived yesterday) is going to be at twice the range if I remember correctly, so that one won't be able to do it either. There are two more missions to the Moon next year though, one from India and the other from the US.

I can't find the vid on youtube for the life of me, but in the fairly recent past, I saw the BBC's 'Sky at Night' discussing the Apollo 11 hoax theory and actually they showed a high resolution photo of the landing site and, whilst not 100% conclusive, did reveal what appeared to be the relevant equipment left by the astronauts. From then on, I stopped pursuing other Apollo 11 'anomalies' - what's the point?

I forget where the photo was taken from though.

Here's that vid

It actually shows the landing site of Apollo 15 and not 11, but never mind. Excellent debunking vid generally.

It doesn't matter how many pictures I see, the moon always seems to look pretty much the same. It needs a McDonald's.

I love the comments along the side. One guy seems to have Sir Patrick Moore (BBC broadcaster) and Canada's Patrick Moore (cofounder of green peace who has adjusted his view on the civilian use of nuclear energy).

The photo comes in at 7:40. It's not a great, alas.

if it is a hoax, then NASA must have been freaking out for the last 30 years. thinking a country will get there and no the USA was full of crap..
armstrong, collins, aldrin, have all said it happend. so if china get up there and dont see any evidence of the US being there.. they are not gonna cover it up.. they will take the claim and USA will be exposed!!
then the cred of the USA will go out the window! and people wont believe a word they say anymore...
also if America didnt go there..they would have sent a crew up there during the 80's to stick the flag in..
I mean why havent they gone back??

Because during the first landing the whole world was watching, but near the end people were phoning in to complain that Moon landings were causing them to miss I Love Lucy episodes. People realized that you can't colonize a place the size of Africa within a few years and support for NASA funding dropped.
