So I was lying in bed today around 11, trying futilely to fall back asleep, when a sudden knock comes to my door. I'm still very sore from a traffic accident so I can't just hop up--it takes me a moment, like an old man. Before I could even get up, the door handle was already being shaken and the guy at the door was trying to enter. WTF. I yelled out, "nuguya!" He responded he's here with my electricity bill. Eh.. real urgent.

I yelled at him to wait while I put on some pants. He starts screaming at me through the door about not paying last month's bill. I opened the door and immediately started yelling at him for trying to come into my home. Soon as he saw my crazy waeg face he changed his tune to that idiotic laughing and "cheosonghamnida" routine. Yeah, he didn't seem so cheosong a second before as he tried to enter my home illegally.

I cannot understand this phenomenon of people here just barging into your home if you don't come to the door right away. I'm telling you, this guy wasn't just trying the lock, he was squeezing the handle and shaking the door, as if the lock were threadbare and he could break through it like Superman. My landlord does the exact same thing. Even a post office delivery guy tried to barge into my home one time. I just don't get it.

Korean people must not be bothered by a random guy allowing himself into their homes. And they must not lock their doors too much, because these guys usually persist even when they see the door is locked, as if they don't understand the concept of a lock. Jesus H.

It's not just a Korean thing. Chinese people seem to do this as well.

Whenever I have Chinese guests, they seem to take upon themselves to show each other around, opening doors and browsing rooms. It's incredibly annoying.

My favorite incident like this was some crazy Christian sect. It was like 8am or something on a Sunday morning. They banged on my door for 5 minutes...I was in bed asleep. So I ran to the door in my undies, flung it opened and yelled "What the F--ck do you want?" Man the look on their face was priceless. They were practically running away. Trust me, they NEVER came back to my house after that.

I've heard from a lot of Canadians here who don't lock their doors at home. One guy on here was complaining that random people would barge into his apartment all the time, and he still refused to lock his door out of principle.

Yea, I have had people like my land lady and church people try the door and then they talk loudly into the window. I don't feel enough privacy to be undressed in the daytime of a weekend such as if I get up at 10 or 11 and wish to comfortably have coffee at the computer without getting dressed.

I had an official from the local Gu , who was doing some kind of official census try to barge into my apartment. I chewed her a new azzhole, called my boss and had her give it to her and mentioned the police and calling them as well. You should of seen the look on her face! And since she was with the local government she must have been taken back by my actions. Too bad though-she was a good looking thirty something woman. Come on in!

Had a more disturbing incident last year when a pair of female missionaries took it upon themselves to let themselves in when my wife was home and the television guy was in hooking up the cable. Despite having been told my wife has a different religion and was not interested in their company they proceeded to brow beat her about the second coming. I was not impressed. I rang them up and told them I would shoot them in the kneecaps if I saw them again in our neighborhood. A similar thing happened to an Indonesian friend in Gyeongsan who was home alone with her baby. The bastards would'nt take a polite no for an answer and terrorised her for a long time. I seriously think I will physically assault the next God-botherer who imposes on my privacy.

I did that to a guy once. I was staying with a friend who lives in a fifth-floor apartuh. I went into the identical building next door, up to apartuh 50__ and let myself in the door that wasn't quite shut. I took off my shoes, walked into the living room, and low and behold some stranger was sitting there at his computer. I said sorry and he didn't even bother to get up. Big deal - some stranger walked into my house ... don't worry about your property, don't worry about your kids, don't even be arsed to get up.

^ The missus has had many a talking to about opening the door. If they knock then don't answer. If they ring then pick up the handset and see who it is.

I walked out of the shower to find a bible thumper at my door talking to the missus.

I just turned c.ock and b.alls swinging freely and shouted "Get the fark out of here"

He looked most shocked to see my manhood swinging in the breeze and ran away.

Must be my foresking again.

I recommend that all you circumsized people get a foreskin reatachement operation to keep away people from your doors.

Masturbate in your living room as often as humanly possible and the problem will eventually fix itself.

Yeah I did that once, too, back in the US. Back in college, the apartments students stayed in were identical, so it was easy to get confused. I don't think that's quite the same thing as trying a door, knowing it's a stranger's home, and then shaking it and continuing trying to enter even after it's locked, while pounding and screaming.

We keep our doors locked in Alberta. Maybe it's only Ontarians who are that dumb.

Alberta has a higher crime rate than Ontario.

I've learned long ago to deadbolt the door, even when I'm at home. Still, it doesn't stop people from banging on your door in impatient frustration when you don't answer the doorbell .02 seconds after it has finished ringing.
