It's kinda tricky this. I grew up in Cornwall but lived between manchester and sheffield for about ten years and my mum still lives there. SO when I go home I stay with her and it's more Derbyshire than Yorkshire. I did have the amazing choice of working in either sheffield or manchester. So either had the choice of Brannigans in Rotheram or Teasers in Manchester for office parties. Any amount of asking to be killed at the door were blatantly ignored. Great Days!  |

Yeah, I'd have to say that I've no idea what accent Dome Vans has. I certainly wouldn't be able to pick it up, but I know he's from England. As for myself, I'm kind of an English-Irish mix when it comes to accent. |

Judging by my experiences in Canada, I'd imagine he means woo woo Indians, not 7-11 Indians. Pretty sad cases a lot of them. |

The one thing that irritates the *beep* out of me in the US is people who have to make a comment or stupid question about every single thing.
Coke machine has an 'Out of Order' sign on it.
"The coke machine is out of order?"
No, the sign actually just features arbitrary characters that are arranged into a pattern in which people who use the English language can make sense of based on their past experience. If you don't understand it, it could very well mean anything. Why don't you try getting a drink out of the machine, dipsh1t?
The one good thing about Korea in that sense is that it's almost guaranteed that 9 out of 10 times a person will look at the sign and walk away without having to say something. |

Well my friend from vancouver would say people from India, mostly Sikhs. But I was referring to 'first nations'. Too bad the rest of us are 2nd nations.
