I really like my new gloves. I was walking down the street in the wee hours after the pubs on the weekend when I saw this other foreigner sprawled out on the street by his scooter. It looked maybe like someone hit him, but I couldn't be sure. He was pretty much off to the side and out of harms way, so I thought maybe it would be better to move along since I heard that in Asia (not sure if in Korea, but in Taiwan anyway) that you shouldn't get involved in such things due to legal reasons.
Anyway, the point of my story... I saw that he was wearing a kick-ass pair of gloves. Went up to pretend to see if he was ok and gave him a little shake. No response. Then I pinched off his gloves and quickly left the scene. Thought it to be funny since he was probably drunk and deserved it.
Hope he's ok. |

At what cold temperature would you consider that to be immoral, ying le? I mean, admittedly someone would be more likely to develop a heat rash than frostbite in this weather (gloves now ), but where do you draw the line on perhaps causing indirect severe damage to the drunken amongst us?
This is a moral issue. A response is required. And I sleep drunk with one eye open, and I would have possibly been stumbling home with your jacket if you had tried that on me.
(I love internet tough talk).
This reminds me of something from that movie 'Escape from New York'. I can't remember what scene, but there was a character similar to ying somewhere in that flick. |

Sometimes I run off with one of those baskets of veggies that the halmonies sell. It's easy pickings especially since they're sitting on their keisters. Then I chuck them one by one from behind bushes at the nearest police station and walk right by like nothing happened. It's something of a ritual. |

Well, it was a drunk "I don't know how I feel about ying's story right now, but I want to say something" type of post. Didn't mull it over.
Still haven't, but I would say rolling a drunk crash victim isn't too cool as a general rule. But if he likes his new gloves, then so be it.
(edit: I guess it shows the calibre of some of the people I have known that I didn't bat an eye reading the OP. Yeesh.) |

Great story ying; I was snickering the whole way through and all I have to say, is if I was in that poor drunk sap's shoes (and I probably wouldn't be because if me shoes were nice, they'd get nicked too) once I would awaken from my drunken stupor and I saw my gloves (and shoes) were missing, I'd have only myself to blame. Congratulations on your newfound booty. |

I've had things missing before. Mainly money. In Korea. Not like I come on here complaining though. Chalk it up. Let's talk a million. Yes. I'm like, "Oh well."
But I'm not a big F-visa teacher. |
