This is simply out of curiosity. Maybe it'll give an interesting view of which cultural group is more sociable, more outgoing, more easy-going, etc. It's more likely that it will simply be a reflection of which culture is most populous in Korea (i.e. - Koreans). |

Technically, I know (of) more Oyrish than anyone else in Korea. I've also met a lot of Kiwis, especially during this contract year. |

I don't think one group would make up more than 25%. |

It seems that 80% of the people I know here are Canadian so the opdds are in their favor. I never met so many Candians in my travels than here in Korea. There must be one hell of a recruiter in Nova Scotia. I seem to know about 20 people from there, more than from my country of Australia. |

is she single?
Anyhow, this is a hard poll to answer.. seems like I have friends of every nationality here.. even Mexican and Peruvian. But of course most of my friends are fellow English teachers which seem to consist of Americans, Canadians, Australians, Kiwis, Irish, British, etc. I have other freinds as well from Germany, Iran, Japan.. you name it.. I've met them, hung out with them, drank with them, and had a damn good time.
But my better friends are generally native English-speakers who teach English here.. regardless of nationality of origin. |

I don't personally know any other foreigners here that aren't American or Canadian. Not by choice, it just seems to have worked out that way. |

You've probably been here quite awhile. A long time ago (1996-1997) when I was here, I pretty much only met Americans and Canadians.. and anyone different was kind of exotic and interesting.
These days, among 'new' friends.. I seem to meet alot of Kiwis and Irish in particular. Particularly Kiwis, seems I keep meeting more and more people from New Zealand all the time. |

i did a quick tally and actually came up with koreans as the largest percentage. next came canadians - i seem to meet canadians wherever i turn! then aussies and kiwis. don't know many from usa. know a couple of poms.
i have a lot of pakistani and bangladeshi friends here in ansan. also a nepali, and indian, and two nigerians. ansan is the most multicultural part of korea. |

Most of my friends are Scots, with a few other token nationalities also present. |

Most people I know here are fellow Canadians, but not the best kind.
I love the English and Irish bloks here. No attitudes, no problems, drink alot, good sense of humour. They seem like the Canadian types I miss from back home (pub-going types) |

I have no friends here. Why? It's beyond me - I don't know. I've met a lot of people but they always make an excuse to leave once the conversation gets started. Guess they needed the toilet really bad or something. |

Mix between Americans and Canadians. Lots of Koreans that I know, talk to, spend some time with, but to say that I am close with them, no. |
