now I can understand the word "common"
but where does the term "off the street" come from?
Unless Ned Flanders became homeless during an episode of the Simpsons that I haven't seen yet

actually.....minus the gay-looking jogging suits, I look almost like them.
Instead of jogging suits, baggy jeans or cargo pants and a long 3XL t-shirt that goes to my kness.....typical style for students around here....which is NYC fashion

But what IS a ned?

I know the answer is just a google away but I'm guessing--judging by yngwengletceteras informative pic--'ned' is bogan slang for 'self-congratulatory, vehemently-in-denial-of-their-own-ingrown-homosexuality sports fans.' In america we call them 'fratboys.'
