OK, so let me get this straight. I'm allowed to make a nice little individual post for something like this in the B/S/E forum: (which has by the way been done before, recently, and sold successfully with no problems.)
But not something like this:
Is that what you're saying? 
and before you tell me there is a special thread especially for animals - we KNOW. But its definitely more successful to have an individual thread for more people to see. If toilet rolls are allowed one, why not little HOMELESS Chester? |

| sure you can sell toilet paper. but if you have 30 rolls of tp you can't make 30 different posts each selling one roll (even if they are different brands). This should be pretty clear |

Well, yes you would think it would be pretty clear. However, you are dealing with a person, and I use that label loosely, who at one time defended the rights of eco terrorists to blow up cars to make a political statement.

And this Elmer Fudd routine is funny as long as you're not really a mod. If it's anti-mod satire, nice work. If the joke is on us, why don't you help the other mods understand that people here deserve an explanation? When are they going to address our concerns?
You might also draw their attention to a certain individual in the "off-topic" forum who doesn't realize that derailing animal adoption threads is disgusting, offensive behaviour. You could also ask him to stop lying, baiting others and wasting their time with irrelevant garbage posts. Even if he is your friend. Thanks. |

No bramble, I'm not a mod. I think that you might have trouble discerning the difference between parody and reality. Please refrain from posting such nonsense in the future, or I'll have to bring this up in the mod forum.
PS - the mods have a HUGE thread about YOU in the mod forum, and things aren't looking good for you at this point.

So one dog = one toilet paper roll? I'm not really an animal person, but even I find that concept kind of offensive. |

Thanks, that was kind of my point too.
Also, I think people tend to skip over "mass adoption threads" and are more apt to respond to an ad for an individual animal with a name and a face. Tim's posts (here and at EnglishSpectrum) seemed like effective outreach, and I was very happy to see them. People don't seem to realize that he didn't create the crisis ... he's trying to do something about it in the face of overwhelming odds. I say good for him.
