from the joonang ilbo

http://joongangdaily.joins.com/article/view.asp?aid=2882690

''For a good hour, Paris Hilton was a no-show at her press conference last Saturday afternoon.
The conference was supposed to start at 2 p.m. but there was no sign of the 26-year-old hotel heiress, who was making her first visit to Korea.
Dozens of reporters were increasingly irritated with the excuses and promises offered by Hiltons PR team.
Is she crawling down the stairs or what? yelled one reporter, followed by nods of approval from the rest of the gathered press people.
Pushed to the limit, some reporters began to complain, This is so Paris Hilton, and She is so not worth our time and coverage.
The heiress made a belated entrance at 3:07 p.m., and had to watch most reporters stand up and walk out in protest.''

yes, exactly. so take your doinks out of your hands, put the pens, papers, and cameras back in and go cover some real stories... losers.

then again, in a country like this paris hilton in hanbok is the very meaning of life itself.

So you think the reporters were wrong to be annoyed? This is a prime example of Koreans not being able to do anything right in the eyes of some on this site.

are you sure about that? afterall, this just might be an example of how some criticisms, however valid they may be, are never acceptable in the eyes of some on this site. no?

Ahhh, she was a couple days off the blow (damn u, customs!) and gutted by the incipient realization that soon she'll soon be just another fekked-out billionaire retard who nobody in their right mind gives a crap about...a punchline, at best.
Now, she's a punchline sure, but at least she can still get laid in any bar she walks into. Five more years, she's just another withered dye-job syphillitic flange accused of being a Russian hoe for the crime of being blonde. Unlike most blondes here, she deserves it though...wretched thing. Ever a better argument for a socialist revolution than Paris Hilton? I think not, and I'm not even a socialist. She's a walking advertisement for a 99 percent inheritance tax. She's famous for being a third rate porn star. I deserve more for the porn I did, and the porn I did sucked.

Nope. They every right to be annoyed. The obscenely rich and their fashionably-late BS is put up with in our own culture, but in another culture? Fashionably-late SHOULD be met with our backs as we walk out the door. Maybe next time she visits a country for the first time she won't be such a tool. The whole famous-for-nothing crowd should just disappear as it is.

What they should have done was tell her there was some free Gucci samples on the other side of DMZ. BUt she has to run quickly through it to get there first. When she asks what DMZ means, just say Dolce Male Zing and then she's gone, forever hopefully. I'm not really into lynching but I'd keep a torso momento on my fireplace.
