I haven't in this thread, but I have to say, that's dumb distinction.

I understood what she meant by that. Although I disagree that they should be treated different as the "original owners and inhabitants of the country". We agreed to disagree due to our differing opinions on this. It seems that we have both spent time in the communities and have both come out with different ideas about it.

Hopefully people will see why we have the problem that we have in Australia. It is not that we are a real racist place that hates everyone non-white. It is far from that.

The problem will be never ending as far as I can see. I blame them and they blame whites.

Cheonmunka, aren't you a kiwi?
How long were you in Australia for?
Have you ever lived among them to see for yourself?
Do you think we pick on the Aboriginal people as a sport or something?

I attended elementary school in Wollongong.
I visited family one time in Adelaide and sat down in a park with a group of Aboriginal men and women. I shared a bottle of brandy, that I had bought.
Some police came and kept circling, driving around the grass park area, like a circular road with a radius of about 60 meters, five or six times. This was pointed out to me so I watched, too. They drove around slowly and each time they came around again so there was a clear view they stopped and eyeballed the group. I was told this was what the police did continually. Why the intimidation from the police?
My Brother had a flatmate who was Aboriginal - God, what a horrible way to describe someone, only to you but! Anyway, she is fine, but feels insecure because of the past ... and present.
As for sport, who knows? What drives people? Do not shitty people purposely victimize others? Do they not require easy targets?

Regardless, we each have our own experiences with which to draw our viewpoints.
Maybe your point is more valid. But, the title 'blacks' must be relinquished. Don't use it as it doesn't add to your philosphy.

If you grew up in Australia, you should know what a stupid idea it is to drink in public anyway. I never do it because it looks bad and the police hate it. In some parts you will get fined for it.

The police probably stop and see what is going on because that is their job. When anyone is drinking in a park in a major city, I would hope the police were doing their job and making sure they weren't up to no good.

You should also know that when Aboriginals are drinking they go loopy. Good luck sharing a drink with them in a park mate.

Boo bloody hoo. It's not illegal. What's the police got to do with it. It's not outside a school. Again, it was not illegal.

Well it is in some parts. Besides I am not here to give you a lesson on moralities. Have fun drinking with the Aboriginals in a park Laughing

I notice you took the noob part off. It pays to check things before you post on here.

PS: It doesn't pay me to check anything I post on here. This website is pure crap mostly all the way. The only reason I post on here is to maintain my English and feel like I have at times a link to where I was before.

So, which one of us has been drinking? If not you, then maybe you should have a swig...

PPS: Don't give me moralities. I am too old to have kids tell me off.

Too bad for you. It's a shame that I speak Korean as well. You aren't the first one to become bilingual. Well maybe over there...
