Anyone getting withdrawal symptoms now that Demonoid is down?
If you're into documentaries then http://forums.mvgroup.org/ is excellent. Crappy forum-style GUI but it's worth the effort of looking around. Many great hi-def documentaries. Registration is open at the moment. Download speeds are average but everthing seems to be well seededl. |

This was hands down the best site on the net; it'll be a dark day if they can't get it re-opened anytime soon, however, I'm sure something else will take it over.
When Audiogalaxy went private, Kazaa and Kazaalite worked out. When they started to suck, I went to Limewire. From there, to the Pirate Bay, etc. |

| That I love torrents site mentioned by a previous user seems to be okay. A good message board attached to each torrent is important. |

Demonoid was great. I loved getting Corner Gas from there. Here is a good link to soften the blow.

I also am going through withdrawal. A short while ago I thought I was set for a few years with Oink and Demonoid membership, and was loving it.
Now my other options seem like garbage. Seems like none of the private sites have open registrations at the moment, and the public ones are useless.
Anyone found good replacements for music and movies? And by that I don't mean mininova, isohunt or any advertsing platform sites... |

I thought the choice was a bit limited, unless you're into BBC docs. I used to go to #digitaldistractions, but that too has been shut down.
For music I'm just using torrentz.com which is working surprisingly well. Being in Canada, Demonoid has been blocked for me a little longer than the rest of the world, and we've had to improvise. |

| Anyone have a good site for digital comics? I used to get up an hour early every Thursday morning to hit Demonoid for new comics before going to school. |
