Hi fellow Australians and/or vegemite lovers! Does anyone know where I can pick up some vegie? I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms after 4 months without the stuff!

There's place in Itaewon that specializes in Australian stuff. I don't whereabouts or what its called, but I know it definitely exists, or at least, existed in the past.

The Aussie shop DOES NOT sell it to take away (but you can buy it in a sandwich or something). They don't sell it because Kraft won't export it to Korea for cheap, and getting other folk to send it to them is not cost-effective.

I'm sure I've seen it somewhere at a ludicrous price though.. maybe the Hannam supermarket?? or maybe I imagined it. I get my supplies from friends or trips abroad.

... Agreed!

I have supplies of each sent in from home (NZ) every few months and have introduced my 'Special Class' to marmite and potato chip sandwiches ... they were a big hit.

I have an unopened jar of Marmite! If you're in seoul and can meet with me sometime, it's yours. Hate the stuff. Arrived in a 'care' parcel from mum. She must be getting senile. I never ate the stuff.
