|
|
Hey all,
I've finally got a job with a Director who actually sounds like functioning human being, and with a decent grasp of English to boot!!
I'm on my way, (from misery to happiness... or is it the other way around?)
Anyway, being a financial ostrich, I was hoping to get some advice, as to how to manage my money and exchange rates and stuff and stuff.
The dollar to won exchange what?
I've heard that if I put all my money into/onto a Visa card then there's absolutely no charge for exchanging currency!? Is that true? Then all I have to worry about is the timing of exchanging currency, as Visa will issue me whatever currency I ask for at the going exchange rate at the time.
It sounds good from here under the sand, but like i said.... um what?
What do you do to manage your cash?
A little help (well hell all the help I can get really).
Cheers |

When you find a Visa card that has a 0% foreign currency fee if you carry a positive balance, I would like to know with what bank. |

I don't know where you hail from Napolean, but here in Australia the Commonwealth Bank does not charge any additional fees for currency exchange on Visa Card transactions. Visa, however, do at 1.5% of the value of transaction, which Commonwealth passes on. IE on Visa currency transactions you will pay the 1.5% full stop. Same for Mastercard. It's all down to the card issuer wether or not you get an additional slugging.
Thanks for all the help people.
You're champions every damn one of ya
