You're right about that! I have a couple of bags of marshmallows my mother sent from home (still not sure why) so I figured I'd make some rice krispie squares. Found a box at Hannam supermarket tonight....16,500won. Insane! No rice krispie squares for me.
Guess I'll be making a lot of hot chocolate or something. What else does one do with marshmallows?
As for cereal, right now I've got cornflakes, almond flakes, cocoa puff things (my bf's not mine haha) and a container of homemade granola on the go. |
What to do with marshmallows? If they're the big ones, you can always skewer them on a chopstick and "toast" them over the flame from your gas range! It's either that or drink a lot of hot chocolate!!  |

Have you tried the cereals that Kellogg's make just for the Korean market? There's black sesame flakes, brown rice flakes and 'various grains' flakes. The black sesame one is really good and has the unusual trait of turning the milk a deep grey. |

| The cheapest is the "puffed rice" type cereal that's usually sold by street vendors selling those puffed "rice cake" type snacks. It IS slighly sweetened, though. |
