Rupert comes to mind, stealing someone's shoes and stuff in episode 1... in an interview he said the shoes had a bottle of booze hidden in them.

Didn't see any shows before Pearl Islands, except for the first 2-3 eps of season 1, so don't know if there are other examples.

Yau-man said in an interview that you cannot steal the immunity idol, and you cannot talk on the way to tribal council. Both would get you disqualified.

Are cameras on them at all times? Seems that way. Just wondering if there would ever be away to get the immunity idol without anyone knowing. That includes the cameras, crew, and everyone at home. Then someone could steal the idol out of the view of the cameras.

Ha! Guess not.

Wonder if anyone has ever blown anyone to get the idol or to not be voted off. Maybe that's against the rules too.

agreed, good that he is gone which was just a matter of time, however it would have been a much better play to blindside James. JR was an easy target. Not really sure y Todd voted for him.

I think Todd might get voted out early b/c people will see that he's changing his minds and messing with people. I think they will vote him out just to get rid of him and his changing mind.

Bye Frosti.

Right before the vote, it was pretty obvious who was going.

I wonder why they aren't leaving tribal council right away? Someone else being voted off? Maybe one of the jury members are being voted back in? Or switched for a player by votes?

Any guesses?

I think these little surprises are kind of lame. Like the burgers and fries tonight.

Too bad about Frosty, but it's nice Courtney's 'stragedy' isn't working too well, haha.

PG, Pg,Pg, are you there to play the game, or to whine? Nobody's gonna give ya the million, honey.

Todd's gonna win. Everybody's riding his coattails, except maybe Eric. Nobody can see how well they're bing controlled, or are too dumb to care.

yingwen: I reckon it's something to do with the immunity idol. The game is getting way predictable.

I don't know what's predictable. What is it with the immunity idol you predict?

Usually (I think, since I haven't seen all the Survivors) that you can use the hidden immunity idols up until there are four people left. When there are three, I don't think you an use them. If James wins one more immunity challenge, he's sitting very pretty. Let's say he wins immunity next week. That means he might as well use one of his hidden idols the week after that. Puts him in the final 5 with one hidden immunity idol remaining.

The producers are avoiding strength and endurance based challenges like the plague. I bet they're doing this because they know James has two idols and they don't want to weight the game any further in his favour. So next week, I think Peih Gee will get immunity again, and Eric the goat-whisperer will be sheperded to the losers' lodge.

Do they decide as the go along what the challenges are going to be? Or is it set in stone? I think it's set in stone, but that could be naive thinking.

Anyway, I don't think they can tell who will win the challenges, but it's good to mix them, so it's not a forgone conclusion who wins. The Cook Islands Survivor seemed to have mostly physical games where that buddy who was in the final two with the Korean-American. Seems less that way this season. Maybe.

I think the next immunity challenge will test physical prowess and James will win. Then he'll either win the following one or the one after that and use one of the hidden idol. That'll put him in the final four with one hidden idol left. Means he'll have no choice but to use it. Either give it to someone or use it himself. Probably the latter. I was thinking he could team with Denise. That that would be a good move. But I'm not so sure now. This season seems to be all over the place with no true alliances like two season ago. That was classic. Buddy used the idols perfectly. You'd think James could have caught on to that, but I guess Todd screwed that up. Maybe a good move on his part. Maybe not.

Can't believe James didn't play an idol. What the hell was he waiting for? It would've been a lot more interesting since mayb PG and Todd would've tied and they would have had to vote again.

I don't know. Kind of disappointing.

yeah, he must be kicking himself in the ass now. But they did the right thing getting rid of him now, otherwise he would have had a really good chance of winning.
And am I the only one who's amazed that PG is still in the game? She's really lucky. Every episode, she is set to leave, but something always happens to save her. She almost deserves to win now because the last few episodes she's been surviving by a thread.

I said the same thing about Courtney.

James is very strong and healthy, but he doesn't seem to be a natural at sports. That guiy from Cook Islands, Ozzie, was not only decently strong, he was fast, had good endurance, flexibility, and a decent brain inside his head. He was the ultimate challenger.

James was chosen first for that ball bouncing challenge but he sucked and blamed it all on PG. No class whatsoever.
