|
|
For the past two years the helpful office staff has filled out some kind of Korean income tax refund form for me and I get back some money. I never actually saw the paperwork because I was always out of the country for New Years. All I know is that they needed my bank statements because the more money spent with credit cards the more money refunded (sounds strange but I think its right).
So this year I worked half a year and then the contract finished. I guess I need to fill out this Korean Income Tax Refund form myself. Does anyone know where to get this form? Does it exist in English? Does anyone else do this? I dont know if its required, but always seemed to result in some money back.
Thanks, Drew |

I understand your employer is supposed to file for you. Is this correct? |

That's good to know. Means I can go back to my old office and ask kindly for help (knowing that they should indeed help).
Anyone second this? Are the employers indeed supposed to do this (even after employment is finished)?
Thanks, Drew |
