Yeah, this was 2 and 5 years ago, I wasn't a child when it happened. Why is it so hard for you to admit that such morons do exist? Wait, wait, I am sure if they were Canadian you wouldn't have reacted the same way. |

...And you weren't 'there' so you can't verify 'it', Einstein. Next! |

Neither were you. Why would my dad feel the need to lie about this stuff? He stopped trying to impress me about 15 years ago. Whether or not I was there, doesn't make the internet any truer.
It really hurts your pride that such people exist in your country. |

If you took everything American out of Canada it would be like living on the moon. |

That's why we love Americans. |

Oh wait, that's true. |
Okay, maybe they have enough sense of humor to make that joke, but that's still not very good. |

It was slightly funny, so I think it was a joke, just not a very good one.
Are you Canadian? Are you having problems with your sense of humor? |

Canadians believe their airports are uber helpful and friendly to international non-speakers of English.

Okay, then...your dad is a good storyteller. Ever seen this movie? |
Really. Every Canadian I meet has some story about how someone in Kentucky or Ohio asked them if they had a pet beaver or lived in an igloo. Then, they of course, can't give any specifics about the story or they change it and say, "Well, it happened to a friend of mine and I wasn't there."
Right... I think that they broadcast these stories on TV so many times that everyone thinks it actually happens. These are the things that make Canadians feel warm and fuzzy by trying to make Americans look bad, and that is why they all assume these stories to be true. |

Good, that was my intention. Many things are great about Canada. It's just that more things are great about the States. |
