I'm planning to go to SK before the end of the year, but for the last few weeks I feel I've been glued to my computer trying to sort out getting a job before I go. I am being very picky so I guess this is why it's taking me so long...anyway I've been sent a sample contract from Avalon school in Yongin which looks pretty good, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any info about this specific school? I've done a search here on the Avalon schools in general and the reviews seem ok, so any info at all on this particular one would be great.
Also is Yongin as boring and dull as I've been informed..or maybe misinformed?!
cheers guys |

I can't comment on the school, but Yongin sucks a fair bit of arse.
My 360 degree panaramic view is of apartment buildings-extremely dated, morbid and depressing.
My 'town' has only 1 club I am banned from. Nightlife here sux.
There is very little to do beyond movies and getting drunk as far as entertainment goes. The foreigners here are not friendly-well some are.
The only good thing I can think of about Yongin is that after returning from Seoul there are less people and less crowds on the footpath. Wonder why. |

I just ran a google search on Avalon Suji . . .
and found they have an English-language website now?!? Wow, there are campuses in Gwangju, Daejeon, Daegu, Incheon, Suwon, Chuncheon, and all over Seoul. When I worked there they had 5 or 6 campuses total.
They seem spread kinda thin now. I thought the main draw before was that they were the top hagwon in Bundang . . . now they're getting into GnB territory.
Anyway, OP, run a google for "Avalon Suji" or "Avalon Suji blog" and you find a little more information that way. |

There are Avalon branches in other parts of Yongin besides Suji. |
