Nader reveals comments by Massachusetts Rep. Olver explaining why he can't push for impeachment... indeed, "Things are a lot worse than we thought."

The last 2 month of news is Chaos Theory defined. Things are unraveling at speeds even I didn't anticipate, and I'm the resident doom and gloomer, according to some.

But I was the first to say get ready for martial law and that the 2008 elections might be called off. I am not very happy to be right but we should be glad we are not there.

1983: 20% interest rates, head of GE says it will go on indefinitely, part of the normal business environment.
1997: 20% interest rates in Korea.
2007: 4% interest rates.
2008: who the *beep* knows?!? no one can predict a god damn thing.

read "the Black Swan". Great book. about our complete inability to predict the future, and how certain events transform the landscape, yet we are unable to predict them. Russia's collapse was one, IMF another, 9/11, and I can't imagine a better time for another bomb to drop than this point in history. Nobody seems to have a handle on any of the madness going on around the world. The good news is, Bush and Cheney think they can shape the course of the world, but they are both in for a rude awakening. Perhaps it will be the Chinese and the Middle Eastern cartels pulling out of the dollar and completely destabilizing the dollar, leading to the economic collapse of America as we know it. Perhaps it will be China making a military move on Taiwan, destabilizing Asia. More likely, it will be something no one is talking about at the moment. That is far more likely based on historical trends.

Well it could be worse. A nutbar prone to conspiracy theories could be president of the US. Good thing Nader lost.

I wait breathlessly as you explain how a "nutbar" who has done more for consumer safety than any American in the last 50 years, while exposing corporate and government malfeasance endless number if times, is a worse choice than the current administration.

All of the above.

lets look at the video link then.

he quoted a letter that revealed the reason democrats, or atleast one democrat (the author of the letter) won't push for impeachment.

how is that a conspiracy theory?

the author's letter reveals a fear

-->if the democrats push for impeachment, they are fearful of war with iran, martial law and a postponed election as a response.

the above was directly expressed by a democrat in the government.

how is that conspiracy?
