I just moved into a much smaller apartment and I am experiencing very bad condensation on my windows. The last few days, I've come home to find my window sills completely covered with water that has dripped from the windows. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to prevent this. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm not sure how big your apartment is, but you could try getting a small dehumidifier (although it may make your place too dry?)..

Tell us a little more about your apt. Does the bathroom have a window or is it an interior room? Does it have any kind of ventilation at all? Are you in the basement? How big are your windows, and how many windows do you have? Are they all on one side, or can you cross-ventilate?

Do you have an air-conditioner? Some of them have a specific dehumidifier setting.

I'm guessing that you hang your laundry in your apt. Try keeping a fan on it to dry your clothes faster.

At any rate, try leaving your windows open a crack when you're out during the day. (Yeah, I know it's cold out.) I had the same problem, and that was the only thing aside from buying a dehumidifier that worked.

good lord, is that girl in your avatar the poor kid who was burned in the napalm attack during the Vietnam war? You're a sick pup.

There's a simple product at the supermarket that ought to help, usually used in the humid summer, but useful if your house gets a bit dank and damp in winter too.

It's called 하마(hama),and it's got a pic of a hippo on the packaging.
