Ron Ecker wrote: The website Physics 911, of the Scientific Panel Investigating Nine-Eleven (SPINE), has published a document allegedly from the German intelligence agency BND, which says that the Mossad was behind the 9/11 attacks, with the full knowledge of the U.S. government.

Here is the most telling passage in SPINEs comments:
QUOTE
The document purports to be from the German Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), which has its headquarters at Pullach, near Munich. It was released by Gregory Douglas, author of Regicide: The Official Assassination of JFK.
Regicide of course is the book that is supposedly based on once-secret documents, which we are to believe were written by JFKs killers (CIA agents and other officials) to document their conspiracy.
Is SPINE really unaware that "Douglas" has been described, in a review of his book series Gestapo Chief, as "a known fabricator of documents who has used a variety of names over the years"?
Should not this accusation against the person who released this purported German intelligence report at least be known by SPINE, which should accordingly inform its readers in trying to determine if the document is "genuine"?

I am sure it makes perfect sense to him.
It has something to do with a conspiracy; and it mentions Israel and the CIA. Therefore, it must mean something to people who receive most of their input de sus sombreros de papel de aluminio...

And who gave you the right to decide that?
You start a thread, and then take no responsibility for answering for it or explaining what it means. Not only that, but it appears to be another - new - threat relating to conspiracy theories, started even after several members of this forum have asked to reduce the number of duplicate threads.
Not only that, but it appears to be a continuation of a thread started elsewhere.
If people think you're wrong, you're not going to become right by spamming the forum. Why don't you just take some responsibility for your actions? |

No offense to anyone in particular here, but many of you are referring to this thing as the "IMF" and as has been discussed it is not the right characterization... |
Well we were here during that time, you weren't, and in any case the thread was about the economic collapse IN KOREA of 97. Koreans commonly refer to it as the IMF crisis. It's just a name. Koreans decide what to call it, you don't. |
I agree. |
You know you're a big one for telling people that they shouldn't follow the "official line" and take what "the government" says as the way things ought to be, yet here you are trying to shove your line - that your way is the right way to describe the IMF crisis - down everybody's throats. You weren't here at the time, this is the description of the event that the average person and the general public has come to, not the government's, and yet here you are. "Don't do as I do, do as I say."
Who gave you the right to decide how people refer to the IMF crisis?

How do you know I wasnt here? Just because I didnt write some cheesy story about the "times" doesnt mean I wasnt here or in the region.
FYI: I left Korea in October of 96 and went to another country in the region. I passed through here with one of my adult students on a business trip. The currency of the other country was devalued quite a bit as well.
Just like your assumption that I did not see the Watergate hearings live-you are WRONG again.
You are supposed to be educators and when you promote a term that put the blame on the very institution that helped these people out, you are guilty of be an apologist at the very least.
I suppose you call mobile phones handphones as well? |

Regardless, you're a big one for telling people that they shouldn't follow the "official line" and take what "the government" says as the way things ought to be, yet here you are trying to shove your line - that your way is the only permissible way to describe the IMF crisis - down everybody's throats. This is the description of the event that the average person and the general public has come to, not the government's, and yet here you are. "Don't do as I do, do as I say." Who gave you the right to decide how people refer to the IMF crisis?
And now you're telling us there's only one permissible term to use in Korea to refer to cell phones: yours. You look down your nose on anybody who decides, IN KOREA, to use the KOREAN LANGUAGE expression "handphone". More "do as I say"; "do as **I** say. You really are full of yourself, you know that? |

The general consensus regarding why others on this thread use the term IMF is expediency but the problem I have is that it condones and promotes Korean nationalism.
Regarding the Korean word handphone. Koreans can do what they want in their language. Handphone is not English , it is a borrowed word incorporated into the Korean language. I am not saying Koreans shouldnt use it when they speak Korean. But when you are "teaching them English" as most on this board are, you should be teaching them the proper word and also discuss that a cell phone is unique to the USA and the generic word is mobile phone. If you woose out and call it a handjob you are missing a good teaching opportunity.
While we are at it , why don't we jump on the anti-Japanese bandwagon as well. You know; while in Rome.
Anyway. What are you so angry for? |
