I am leaving Korea at the 6-month mark in my second contract with the same public school (will have been here 18 months)
My school admin office keeps giving me conflicting info on what I have to do before leaving. I was planning on going down to the pension office this week and was under the impression that I didn't have to go to the Immigration Office. Can I just turn my ARC in and get my Visa cancelled at the Airport or do I have to do something at Immigration prior to the day I leave? Thanks. |

IF you plan to return BEFORE the end of your contract and get a new job the process becomes a LOT easier if your employer goes with you to the immigration office to cancel the visa.
If you are NOT planning to return before the end of your contract, just hand in your ARC on the way out. |
