| The Indian in LP is a cracker. But there are loads of REALLY good Lao restaurants, off the main drag and like another poster said, in the night market. There's also that big cheap place along the river for 2 for 1 drinks and stuff like that, if that's your bag. |

I just looked at the Thai Airways website and they quoted me 732,000 return Seoul- Laos for Sept 1st.
Is that a good price?

It only costs about $15-20, if I remember correctly, for an overnight sleeper from Bangkok to Laos and then a few dollars to get to Vientiane from there. About 13hours total, arriving mid-morning. Vientiane is worth a stopover, but you could probably keep moving on to Louang Prabang that same day. A bus to Luang Prabang is about six hours I think, and although I don't remember the price it couldn't be more than a few dollars.
Lovely train ride, and a rustic but scenic bus ride. I'd suggest this route if you're not hurried for time. |

Good times |
Thats awesome, I need to go stay there. Too bad Korean motels and yeogwon ajummas don't try to pull that deal on me. That is just funny as can be as I never though you would see that in Asia. Guess the rest of Asia is not like the hermit kingdom here only enjoying some crap soju and beer with a hangover effect beyond miserable belief. |
The actualy marijuana plant originated in Central Asia (Kashmir, northern Pakistan and Afghanistan, Uzbekistan) and dispersed throughout the rest of Asia, the Middle East, and east Africa.
It history in Asia is much longer than it is in the West. |

if i remember correctly, it was $35. and if you go through immigration on a weekend or after 4 or 5 pm, they charge you an extra $1-2 (overtime pay). |

Try the "special" pizzas and milkshakes. Just don't make any plans for the next day. |

Bangkok Airways flys nonstop from Bangkok to LP. I've also flown Lao Airlines from Bangkok to Vientiene and from there to LP
think Bangkok Airways also flies there from Chiang Mai |
