No chance. I think there's a certain apathy now with England fans with watching england matches. Haven't seen one for ages. I just can't be bothered anymore. Sub standard team doesn't deserve the time. My bed was easily the winner here. |

I got up to watch it ..and wished I hadn't ..but I would always watch England whenever humanly possible...watched it on the net with Sky commentary. Very very disappointed...playing Carson in those conditions, in his first competitive match and such an important one to...well, I know he's a pro but it was bordering on cruelty. The lad clearly wasn't ready..having only been blooded the friday before!!
But, not just his fault..we were secopnd best most of the game but, just when we were back in it and doing ok...McLaren reverts to defensiveness...maybe he thought the Croats would settle for their point..but he thought wrong.
Felt a bit glum all day in class..even told my kids about it..but they didn't get it...lol....needed an English guy or girl to commiserate with lol
Ah well SM will get the sack later today (our time) then we can get someone really good ...like Sam Allardyce (only joking....I hope!) |
