Hi,

Is it possible to buy a some liquid baby powder, such as Huggies or the Korean equilvelant?

I have seen some on ebay, but it would take a couple of weeks to come.

Yeah, me too. Yuck!

Maybe try the old wikipedia, ken, or some online Doctor Spock's sort of thing? I'd bet that baby stuff you're on about is nothing but talc and hempseed oil or something...probably you could get the ingredients here, and brew some up your good self. There must be some online how-to-oil-your-baby compendium for hippies and expats that'd hook you up.

Hi,

There is concern about babies inhaling regular baby powder, when we put it on them after bath-time.

'Liquid powder' is made by Huggies (and probably others).
It goes on as a liquid, then dries out to give the qualities of baby powder.
I am assuming that because risks of powder inhalation are known here, that liquid powder should be available somewhere. It is available in the USA, and hence through ebay.

If anybody has used or seen this type of product, can you let us know?

Thanks,
Ken

Ahhh, think I've used something like that before. Does it have tons of alcohol in it? (Haven't seen it here, sorry.)

My father told me that Gerber baby food was hard to sell in parts of Africa. Many ppl are illiterate (in some parts- must write that to ward off flamers...), and they saw the gerber baby logo (the illustration of the baby) and thought it was exactly that. Shocked Laughing My dad swore it was true, and he's not a bullshitter~

Ah, another urban legend debunked. Anyway, I had a good laugh when my dad told me that story~

We never used powder on Letty because as you said, the talc particles could go into her lungs and I wasn't willing to risk it. And I am blessed with a child who had only like 2 cases of nappy-rash!

Having said that, though, I like the idea of the roll on powder that Gerber is selling (one of the ones I've shown above) and if we have another child, I will probably buy that one.
