i'm having trouble finding something active to do these days in seoul...
i'm looking for a sport that's physically demanding, social, and fun, but everything seems to happen in the southeast corner of the city, which is about an hour-long trek for me (i live near eungam and hapjeong)...
any ideas? here's list of my favorite sports:
-squash (i simply CANNOT find a decent FULL sized court - they hosted a women's world cup tourney here, how can there be no courts?!!!)
-hockey (i don't have equipment, so shinny or ball hockey would be great)
-baseball
-badminton (indoors)
-basketball (indoors)
-ultimate frisbee
-soccer (i'm not very good but i'll play on grass or indoors - dirt soccer is ridiculous!)
-pretty much anything except for golf or tennis! |

Get some hockey equipment then come to Mokdong.
Ultimate Frisbee is played on Yeouido I believe. |

Get the lead out and do Tkwondo, the Jujits-flip smackers where you do 360's in mid-Air, pounce on a guys stomach and putting him in the scissor's-pinch, crusher grip.'
Or join they yoga guys I see in Yoido, sucking down eggs whole to hold their breath for 8 minutes then burping real loud and exploding the eggs 20 ft in the air. |
