A safety dance. Very Happy

"We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to
A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind
"

The words of a klutz. Ballroom Dancing is a wonderful pastime. If you want proof, go to a church dance (yes, even here in Korea, churches organize dances) and maybe you'll drop those blinders of yours.

Don't worry, enough booze will make it all good. Just remember Dennis Miller's tip: a man should never let his arms rise above his shoulders while dancing, that's gay.

Yes, that's a sure way to convert someone.

(Did you see what I did there? Genius.)

Find some dance moves on youtube and practice them. Or do that move from that Will Smith movie Hitch Laughing

Ok, I used to be a dancer, and in the past, nothing bothered me more than a guy without rhythm, than a guy who looked nervous and self-conscious while moving.

However, one of the first dates I had with my now boyfriend was at a salsa club. Salsa is FAR from my area of expertise, so I was also clueless as to what to do. He is not the best dancer in the world by far, but he took the bull by the horns. I believe he said something like "well I have no idea what I'm doing here, but it doesn't mean we can't make it fun". I had a blast that night, being a complete goofy geek on the dance floor. We didn't know what we were doing, so our exaggerated moves paired with every corny 80's and 90's dance move we could think of made it a lot of fun. Even if you don't know what you're doing, be honest about it but either make it fun, or if she's more serious, make it known that you really want to learn and ask if she can teach you. If anything, that's a reason for her to get her hands on you and help you out. Wink
