you know, i couldn't be happier. i came home and checked the results ... i was jumping around the room in sheer joy!!

johnny 'the ewok' howard was a sh.it prime minister. he spent 11 years f.ucking up the great work done by the hawke/keating governments.

rudd's not exactly the best possible candidate, but he's got a decent head on his shoulders ... hopefully he'll spend the next 4 years (and more) turning around the bu.llsh.it done by the liberal as.sholes.

btw. i was talking to my mate about the nationals and we both agreed that they're the dumbest political group on the planet. seriously, the nationals should join forces with the greens and challenge the liberal party for supremacy as the 2nd biggest party.

the liberals have done nothing but fu.ck the nationals and the country for the last 11 years. the nats ought to jump ship and become a powerful minority.

Goodness, after Tony Abbott's swearing fiasco and his calling a dying man a bad person for no particular reason, the anti-Islamic pamphlet drama, the lies about Work Choices and everything else, how could those arrogant losers win this election?!

If you're in Korea you wouldn't have seen the latest Liberal Party ads, accusing the Labor party of being 'Environmental Extremists'. And here I was thinking caring about the environment was a good thing.

I care too much about education, the environment, the arts and, well, everything else, to vote for those bastards.

Australia was about eleven years late in growing a brain, but at least they FINALLY woke up to themselves.

We had more than a few celebratory drinks tonight.

I haven't been following close enough to confidently call it, but I'd guess little Johnny (the cunning mofo that he is) has done his dash.

I just want to see Peter Garret do his spaz dance in celebration as he's named Minister for Enviromental Affairs. Please, god, please!!

Sucks that he's not been given the full portfolio.
