going across the pacific for the first time in a long time.
generally, how many check-in pieces and carry-on's are one allowed? |

Generally,
Two check bags each 22 kg or 50 pounds. One carry on. Carry on weight usually 8 kg. Nobody every checks the carry on weight. Put your heavy stuff in there if you have a lot. No liquids in the carry on.
A few years ago the two checked bags could be one 50 pound and one 70 pound. Your airline may still have that advantage.
Check their website of course. |

thanks. yea, when the school confirms the ticket i'll be certain to get more specific details.
i've learned my lesson on liquids and gels--coming back from bangkok to seoul they were throwing my expensive toiletries out left and right. |

20 kgs luggage and 5kgs carry on ... but they dont worry so much about the carry on so long as it fits in the 'does your carry on fit in here?' rack near most check in counters. |
