well...golly...since we are all just spitballin'...mizzou wins over KU and is in the drivers seat. beats big 12 south champ and gets the big invite against anyone else in the entire nation. mizzou wins it all. truman defeats dewey and all is well in the world for one brief shining moment.
show me,show me, show me how you do that thing... |

well w va is up 24-7.
i think mizzou wins later today which then makes the big xii title game very interesting, easy if ou wins, if mizzou wins hmmm 3 good one loss teams who do you pick? remember a 1 loss Kansas team is out of the title game mix
looks like ga's sec title game hopes are gone, tenn is up 10 |

If WV and Mizzou win out, they're in. IMO, of course. I don't think pollsters are going to be too keen to see OSU back in the title game after last year, plus, it would be hard to move OSU ahead of either of them after they win. |

By the way, that Tennessee-Kentucky game ended up being pretty good. |

Yeah. Is it just me or did about half the SEC games this year go into multiple overtimes? Would have been unforgettable to have been in attendance at one of those games. |

My money is on Missouri, didnt watch much of the game but from what i heard they looked really good. West Virgina 2 Ohio St 3
Thing is they will lose to OU next week, OU is still that good. If this was a perfect world the nat'l title game would be USC-OU
so now here are my revised BCS picks
Natl title OSU-W Va (no way W Va loses to a very bad Pitt team next week)
Fiesta: OU-Ga
Sugar: LSU-Hawaii
Rose: Ill-USC
Orange: Va Tech-Missouri
other: Cotton: Kansas-Tenn
Cap One: Mich-Fla
Outback Wisc-Auburn
Gator: BC-UT or Tech
Holiday: UT or Tech-Ariz St
Alamo: Penn St-A&M |

I hope West Virginia and Mizzou take care of business. If they don't there is going to be a worse controversy than last year surrounding the title game.
If they both lose, Oklahoma, Georgia, Kansas, and potentially LSU would have to be considered to face Ohio State. Which would also mean that the winner of the BCS title game could have two losses, along with a host of other teams, which pretty much guarantees a split national championship (again.) |

I've been living in under a ROCK (in terms of American sports) since I came here, and I *just* heard about WVU's standings last week. *hangs her head in shame* I'm actually from Charleston, WV, both my parents went to WVU for law school, and I have some cousins there now.
Well, go Mountaineers! Win or lose, the couches will be burning high in Morgantown. |

eagerly awaiting the mizzou -OU game. my goodness. is this all a dream? is it really happening? OU is the gold standard of college football. i am more amped for this than i was when the stl rams came out of nowhere to win the superbowl. kinda similar storylines, but mizzou is as much of longshot now as kurt warner was then. |
