In Korea where aspiring foreign teachers wanting to take up contracts here must visit. There they have an interview, can process all documents, screening checks etc. can take place and once this is all well and good....people will then get the tick and are ready to find a job...
They could even have recruiters there on site and find help to find you a suitable job.
I know everything is in the air at the moment with Visa checks but it would help a lot with security and finding appropriate English teachers with all the fuss there has been lately.
Foreigners could also get Visas here without having to go back to their home country or Japan which people have done recently. |

That makes far too much sense for Korea.
I fail to see why Korea can't process the visas in country. Why do they need us to leave and come back each time? It's ridiculous.
Why do they need us to go through the same process over and over again? It's ridiculous.
Why can't they just keep records from one year to the next?
Nothing about the Korean visa system makes much sense. |
