It's dumb, it's grammatically incorrect, and it's very self-aggrandizing.

I go to them once a month at least.

Never once in over 3 yrs encountered anything difficult, embarrasing or challenging that would take 'manliness' to cope with.

Let's change the question.

You're not a man until you've been to one of the gay saunas in Itaewon.

Discuss. Wink

Maybe if it's an all women bath, that could make you a man. If it's all men, that's kind of gay.

If you're in an all women bath in Korea, that would make you a woman.

If you're in an all men bath and you feel 'kind of gay' it makes you a gay or bisexual man.

If you're in an all women bath and you're a male, that would make you as stiff as the Washington Monument. Anyway, you don't necessarily have to be there, but perhaps peeking through a hole in the wall of some sort, Porky's style.

So seoulman is either a troll or a native K-speaker. Either way, it's not worth a response.

I'll never go to another sauna without my own bathroom slippers. Last time I went, I picked the nastiest athletes foot I've ever had. Three weeks later, I'm still applying medication three times a day. Ugh.

Porky's style? Be careful with doing that. Remember what happened when the woman gym teacher (not "Lassie") saw it?

considering 80% of the women in the Sauna are old Ajummas and grandmothers with wrinkly bits and teats to their knees... I am not too sure that would be a turn on...

well maybe for some of you Razz

Here's a thought: Athlete's Foot is related to Jock Itch. If the former is present, do you really want to chance getting the latter here?

Back in February of 2005, when the other brand-new teacher and I got picked up at the airport by the worthless hagweon that hired us (worthless because of the stunts they pulled at the end of the contract), we got put up immediately in a 2-bedroom apartment with no working heater. After the hagweon managers left us there, we decided to get some sleep. There was an overwhelming stench in the place. So we took some time trying to find it. Turns out that the stench was from the Athlete's Foot fungus on the slippers the previous teachers left in the apartment.
