So I went to my first club night in Hongdae last weekend. I haven't gone out too much since I've been here so I wasn't sure what to expect. Let me just say that you guys all rock! I'm not sure if I met anyone who uses ESL Cafe, but those who I did meet were very interesting. There was the occasional drunk idiot who stumbled by yelling "I Love Japan", but by the most part everyone I talked to had a great story to tell, and was extremely nice. If only I could party with people like you guys back in Toronto. I'm looking forward to this weekend!

I was also in Hongdae last weekend. We obviously did not go to the same places.

Actually, I definitely saw Tiger Beer there but I didn't want him to punch me on my head so I didn't say hello or anything.

If you are going to hang out in night clubs, beware of the dude in the john who gives you a massage while you are whizzing, then expects a tip. He is not gay; he's paid by the club to give 'service' to the customers.
