Tapping. Tapping the pen, pencil, pencil case, hands, whatever on the desk. Makes me CRAZY!

Many people have complained about "tell me," though my students barely sing it.

So what did I do to deserve this? I used to bite my nails, drove one of my 6th grade teachers batty. I remember when we rocked on our chairs it pissed the teachers off. And the glue on the hand, blow on it, tear long strips off in the middle of class thing...

Anyone else think they're getting pay back?

I was a smart kid, but a bad kid with a sharp tongue.


Yet I learned what to do on the teacher's end, and I have a good success rate of defending myself in the classroom.
