A hogwan in Busan is pressuring me to hurry up and sign my contract come to Korea and then do a Visa Run to Japan because he wants to go to immigration very quickly. Any comments? I am a newbie and don't know much but this sounds kinda funny.

The new visa laws are going to be a massive asspain for a lot of us, including the hagwon owners. He's trying to get you in under the wire of the new regulations, probably.

Take your time. Plenty more jobs waiting for you even before the new regs come in. The owner may also be losing money from not having a native teacher on hand. Could be a dozen reasons really. When you get here you realize people don't plan ahead and everything has to be done with as little notice as possible. On a side note, with the visa run to Japan you should realise that working before doing this and getting your E2 is illegal despite what your recruiter or director might tell you.
