[Pligganease]

Anyone ever use this agency? My girlfriend and I are booking flights and I want to make sure it's legit before we send off our money and passports. Any experiences, both positive and negative?

wystan kang can be an annoying pain in the ass sometimes. but i've used him in the past and am using him for my vacation next month. recently he asked me annoying questions about changing my tickets (maybe they were cheaper and wanted to sell mine at a higher rate to someone else).

he is flaky with emails sometimes, so keep pestering him. call if necessary.

oops, this sounds really negative. ok - i had no problems when i booked with him for shanghai last year. and yes it's a legitimate company. and their prices are generally the cheapest i've found.

agreed with the above. Messed up some stuff with me and my friends flights to Thailand, got it fixed. No real complaints.

He seriously screwed us over and then tried to get out of a full refund. If you can find a close price somewhere else, then go with the otehr company. You can read my rant about him in the travel agents sticky above.

i take back what i said.

i booked a flight with him, all confirmed and paid.

now he's saying one leg of the flight is waitlisted.

i'll see if he gets it sorted out by next week, but cannot recommend him at this time.

My firends and I have all experienced similar problems with him. He sends you an email confirming tickets are available on the dates you ask for. Then, after you've sent him the money the confirmation comes back changed slightly. Whether it be a layover that wasnt there before or a different date (usually a day or 2 before). If you complain enough he will try to fix the problem but it cant always be done, so you get stuck with whatever he gave you.

Now I use Xanadu travel and I havent had any problems.

yeah i'm really angry at him. i'll be pestering him a lot. my dates are fairly unflexible because i've already booked connecting flights and have hotel reserved, etc (some of us actually plan things ahead).

will be pestering him non-stop to fix it.

Yeah I had to call him nearly everyday, sometimes several times a day, before he would refund my money. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. This guy is a total ass who just wants your money.

used zenith once with no problems but from what is being consistently said on this thread, I'd be leary.

yeah i once used him with no problems also. this time i'm having problems. of course he's not going to *beep* up every single reservation, but he sure seems to with a lot of them. i think i even read kat2's review a long time ago, should've taken it seriously.
