Calling all you pronunciation gurus! Would someone kindly suggest a good ,( excellent would be even better ), book or two for teaching phonics to adult learners. Something that clearly lays out the different vowel and consonant individual and combination sounds ,( with examples ), is my priority. If you are able, please give title, author and ISBN. Thank-you in advance.

Pronunciation Pairs by Ann Baker and Sharon Goldstein is excellent, and comes with dialogues and other conversation activies related to the words it uses. (ISBN: 0521349729)

I've always liked the Spectrum Phonics series from McGraw-Hill just because it lays it all out in a very logical pattern for the students. Consonants, then short vowels, then long vowels, then consonant pairs then vowel pairs, etc.
