Well, we don't actually see this. It doesn't happen. The woman may simply have been wrong and in for a big surprise as Adams body would have stood up kicked his head round like a football. Then after some name calling from Adam to his body (yes bodiless heads can talk I've seen it in other movies and TV shows) his body picks up the head and reattaches it.

What was her special power anyway?

They've neglected to reveal any of this older generation, aside from Matt's dad and Bob. What could the older Petrellis do? What was Sulu's power? Does Uhura have a power?

And how did Syler just suddenly find the mind reading cop's flop house?

Mohinder and Parkman are living in Mohinder's place, which used to be Mohinder's father's place and Sylar has been there several times (remember Season 1).

And instead of charging at Peter, why didn't Hiro say "I just came back from the past and saw Adam try to release the virus".... ahh, logic.

I don't have a big problem with the regeneration thing. The brain doesn't have to be the source of the power to be necessary for survival. My problem with the last ep was that Sylar somehow taught the Latino to control her own power in a 45-second tutorial. Sylar need to go anyway. The "company" and Adam are enough. How many antagonists does the show need? Sylar is the least compelling of the lot by far.

I do not like Sylar at all. I was happy to seem him killed at the end of Season 1. Bringing him back just to me seemed like they were bankrupt for a new villain.

A couple of weeks ago I saw a headline somewhere that said "CAN HEROES SURVIVE WITHOUT ALI LARTER?" WTF? Am I the only one praying they get rid of that chick and her entire family? Do other people actually like her?

I really think the show suffers from its ensemble cast right now. It would be much better if they shaved it down to the main story with the company/Matt/Noah/Claire and then had Peter pop out of nowhere.

I just finished watching episode 11 and was surprised to see that volume 3 has started. It's mentioned on Wikipedia that volume 2 is affected by the writers guild strike. Does this mean that 13 of the planned 24 episodes are canned? And will we have to wait until next September for Volume 3 to start?

I thought it might have something to do with the strike. Wow, that season crashed and burned.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_%28TV_series%29#Response_to_criticism

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Heroes creator Tim Kring commented on criticism of season two, and the series' 15% decline in the ratings.[50] Kring said that he felt he had made mistakes with the direction of season two. He had thought that the audience was looking for a "build-up of characters and the discovery of their powers", similar to that of season one, when viewers were instead looking for "adrenaline."

Kring also outlined what he felt were problems with plot development, stating that the second season "took too long to get to the big-picture story",[50] explaining that Peter's vision of the viral armageddon should have occurred in the first episode instead of the seventh. He feels that it would have been better to introduce new characters within the context of the main storyline, as with Elle, rather than in unattached arcs such as that of Maya and Alejandro. Kring also admitted that he should have resolved the "Hiro in Japan" storyline much more quickly, and that the romantic stories aren't working well. With regards to Claire and West, and Hiro and Yaeko, he said "I've seen more convincing romances on TV. In retrospect, I don't think romance is a natural fit for us."[50]

It goes a way in explaining what has kind of sucked this season. All I can say is last season was more "dark". There was more tension and mystery. This season is more comical but there's no in house flare for writing more comical material, obviously.

He definitely got all that right.

This last episode was pretty good, though.

Anyone know if Nathan and annoying chicky are really leaving or is Clare's blood gonna save them too?

I would be really sad if this is the end of Nathan.
