Voted headache. A kick in the privates goes away after 10 or 15 minutes, but headaches can last all day, and migraines can be so bad they knock a person horizontal and useless.

Tootache should have been on the poll.

This was harder than I thought. Had food poisoning(stomachache) in Thailand and was vomiting(mainly air and water) every 20 minutes for a day.

I also get terrible migraines at least once a month on the left side of my brain, same place every time, as well as weather related headaches.

Calf knots(cramp?>)also suck, although I only get them in my feet and thigh. Saying that though the above three aren't as bad as a kick in the stones.

Obviously none of you have ever had a back strain. Nothing is more immobilising, painful and frustrating than back problems. Seriously.

I agree. Nothing will make you cry faster or take your breath away. Eww, I'm almost crying now just thinking about it. Crying or Very sad

i have. i still think headache is worse. back pain immobilized me for a week, but migraines bring puking and sensitivity to light and sound and all sorts of other goodies in addition to the pure pain.

How about the existential pain of realizing that you have spent hours on these forums?
And gallstones.

I don't have the male-type external genitals that can easily be kicked.

And I have chronic back pain and don't count it unless I'm unable to get out of my bed.

I've had a few broken bones and an impressive display of roadburn - but to this day, I've not experienced pain worse than when I had an infection in the root canal of a back tooth. I hardly EVER cry, but one night with a 'fluttering' nerve definately caused some tears. Crying or Very sad

For me, a knot in the calf, especially while sleeping, is the worst! Leaves me wimpering long after it is gone. There is no relief which comes with the reduction in pain, no adrenaline rush, just the vivid memory of a knife that could return at any moment, when least expected, in the early hours of the morning.

I just got a knot Embarassed Am fearful of bedtime tonight.

At least with a headache I can take medicine and be dopey relaxed.

Stretching with a calf knot can contribute to them, just as exercise OR the lack thereof can bring it on. It is hell's fury.

I used to get those like crazy in Taiwan and then when I moved they stopped. I think it has something to do with diet. Maybe you should look into on the internet. I'm sure you can take a vitamin/supplement that will stop them.

Oh, and as soon as you feel it coming on stretch your leg right out and don't let it cramp up. That'll stop it before it can really hurt.

I haven't thought about those leg cramps in years but god they suck. Oh and I remember it was only in my right leg too. Strange.

Voted kick in the balls. It hurts more than the rest, but for less time.

If time was a factor, then there should be an option for severe toothache, so bad you want to cut your own head off. No eating, no sleeping, no thinking, no talking, no breathing. They are the worst.
