Claiming that China is the least responsible is as naive as the very comment you criticised. How do you measure it? The Chinese intervention prevented the allies from maintaining their massive territorial gains which had forced the North Korean forces to flea beyond the Yalu River. Doubtlessly the Chinese involvement was hugely influential. It's impossible to saywhich country was less responsible than the other for the division of Korea but the Koreans certainly share a huge amount of responsibility themselves. The North Koreans wouldn't even negotiate with their southern counterparts during truce negotiations. |
