Sigh
Britney Spears trying to adopt Chinese twins

Britney Spears is reportedly set to adopt Chinese twins.
The troubled singer - who recently lost custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, two, and 14-month-old Jayden James, to ex-husband Kevin Federline - is allegedly in the final stages of talks with an agency about adopting the six-year-olds.
Friends claim Britney - who has three supervised visits with Sean and Jayden a week - is desperate to fill the void in her life since she lost the boys and believes opening her home to the disadvantaged youngsters will give her life new purpose.
A source said, "She misses her boys terribly and needs them in her life. She thinks adopting the twins is the perfect solution."
The 'Gimme More' singer - who was ordered by a judge to undergo random drug tests to prove she's a suitable mother - is also said to be planning her own funeral.
Britney, 25, is so concerned her unhealthy lifestyle will eventually take its toll she has splashed out nearly $50,000 in case she ends up in an early grave.
A friend added, "Adoption and a funeral? They two don't exactly go hand-in-hand.
"Paying for a funeral is a sensible thing to do - but not when you're only 25! It's a case of too much, too soon with Britney."
Earlier this month, Britney was banned from driving with Sean and Jayden and her court-ordered parenting coach recently slammed her mothering skills, saying her household, "Ranged from chaotic to almost somber with no communication at all." |

Childhood friend of mine and his wife just adopted two identical twin girls from Ethiopia, I think.
My, they are cute.
They initially wanted to adopt one, but got the offer of 2 at once.
Cost them like $75,000 to do it. |

Couldn't they have given that money to the twins' parents and let them live a good life? |

Assuming their parents are alive. |

People involved in trans racial exotic adoptions are whacked. There is a whole strain of nuttiness involved and the best part is the kids are often unappreciative in the long run.
Picking at the issue or an individual case is a hornet's nest given the psyco nature of a mom's love but in general, these people are freaks. |

Every... other... post...of... yours...
All of my posts are not offensive, not even close. That makes you a liar.
While do you feel you can do that? I think its because you think you are special somehow.
Heres an "offensive" post of mine.

I don't think I'm special. I didn't say every post was offensive, I said you trying to be clever. I'm not lying. Just an observation. I should say that your post was offensive to me. You're entitled to your opinion. This is a forum.
Namaste. |

Sure. But really, aren't these people buying their children? How does that work? |

I don't see anything wrong with money being exchanged. The goal is to give a child a better life.
I'm talking from experience. I was born unto a Korean and Caucasian couple, and then adopted by a Korean and Caucasian couple in a private adoption, not through an agency. Money was exchanged. I'm grateful every day for it.
I posted a thread recently on an orphanage I visited. It really hit home to me that a child would be better off in a loving home, regardless if its in their native land, or abroad.
I would love to see every nation encourage domestic adoption. Sadly, this is not always possible. I say give a child a loving home at any cost. |

The kids were probably from an orphanage and the parents unknown. |

Fine, but in this particular case we are talking about two oblivious children going from the rice patties to the insane asylum. In 10 years we'll be reading about a couple of coked-up shit heads stumbling around the Hollywood Hills with Chinese/Southern White Trash accents dealing with identity issues that put their neglectful chunker momma's neuroses to shame.
They have a better chance at life in the hepatitis riddled Chinese orphanage IMO. |

Oh no doubt! In Miss Britney's case, I agree with ya! It won't happen, though. Well...I hope not. |
