If I had the choose the lesser of the two repulsive evils, as your question seems to imply, I would choose the bottom: he's probably too "flimsy" to do anything really assertive, and it'll be over before I know it.

Would you rather have the Ring of Power or Excalibur and its sheath?

(I'm playing NetHack again after years and years after high school, and it's kinda cool the changes they've made and the fact that it is one of the oldest PC games still being updated)

Excalibur with its accompanying Gueneveres and Ladies of the Lake would be far better than the Ring of Power. All that ever gets you is trouble, and makes even kindly little midgets into sodomite-wizard bait. "My precious," indeed. Feh.

I'd take the crazy threads over the surgery, and cultivate a resemblance to Prince. Seems to work for him...maybe I could make a go of it.

Would you rather be Prince from 'Purple Rain' (dressed badly, unappreciated, stuck in a nasty home life, but no doubt headed for great things) or Prince from 2007 (mad as a cut snake, paranoid and evil, but rich enough to commission the M'n'Mm company to make an exclusive batch of all-black M'n'M's, so they don't clash with your all-black luxury hotel suite)?
