|
|
I've been having trouble getting into my hotmail for the last 2 weeks. Any idea why? I've read that they have improved hotmail etc....but not for me. Maybe it's because I have mac? I've click on the buttons asking me to get the new service etc, but it just doesn't seem to wanna work often. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated ! |

My boyfriend and I have been having the same problem (on our macs, using our PC with windows is fine, though).
The ONLY way to get into my hotmail that I've found is by doing this:
1) go to http://www.live.com
2) search for anything (I just smash on my keyboard)
3) click "sign in" at the top right corner of the screen with the search completed
4) click on the link in the next screen (it's a forwarding link)
5) click on the "hotmail" link at the top of the screen
It's a royal pain in the butt... but, it's the only way I've found.
New and improved hotmail my ass. |

I have no problems with my mac. There were a few hiccups last month when they were switching over to MSN Live, but now that the switchover is complete, no problems. (I'm running Tiger 10.4.10 and Mozilla) |

I have no problems on my mac either. I just go to hotmail.com and then sign in. |

No problems here, either. Firefox's "WebMail Notifier 1.0.4." add on takes care of gmail, yahoo and hotmail. |

No problems for me, using Safari 3.0.4 and Tiger.
Anyways, Hotmail is TEH SUCK. Change to a better email service, man! I have my hotmail for msn, and that's it. (Actually, check out AMSN, it's an MSN clone that works better for macs...uses your existing hotmail address too.)
Alternatively, set up Mail to automatically download your emails to your computer. Mail makes checking your email very easy, as there's no loading time for switching between emails. |

gmail.com is the only way to go. I had a couple hiccups too, but only for a couple days. Which browser are you using? |

Is there a way to type in Hangul with hotmail and a Mac? I mean, I can type just fine, but when I send something it just comes up as gibberish. When Korean friends send me mail in Korean, it works just fine. |
