Your neighborhood stationary shop should have 20pack DVD-Rs for less than 5000 won. HP and Imation are common global brands that are commonly available here.
It would cost you that much to ship a 20pack. Get them locally. |

i get the local variant of the blank Taiyo-Yuden DVDs (i think i use DVD+Rs though) called Fusion. i usually pick up a spindle of 100 when i'm around Yongsan. there is an underground/basement area right next to Sunin Plaza that has decent selection and prices. i might be able to dig out the URL of the place i get my DVDs from. |

Yep. Yuden is the go...you will only realize this a year after the burn when the media is still readable, unlike many brands.
Imation are crap as are any Samsung DVDs. |

Yuden Taiyo are the best brand.
I buy 100 Sony DVD-r's at a time (X16) off the net. 40,000 for a hundred. I've sucessfully burnt about 300 of them. They rarely fail. |

Agreed Yuden is best.
I get mine in Yongsan - walk around and you should be able to find a spindle of 50 for around 20,000. The other day my wife ordered CD-rs 50 from Lotte and they came with 50 hard cases. Brand was THATS (alternate name for yuden) |

I've used those Fusion yuden discs for quite a while now. Absolutley no coasters. All my burns still work perfectly and they aren't expensive. Like others said 50 pack of 16x for around 20000won
edit
Price!!

I buy Sony, and highly recommend them. I too have burned cheap discs, only to find they quit working 6 months down the road.
Many of the cheap discs are actually the discs that high-level manufacturers reject. Avoid them at all costs.
Go with Sony. I'm gonna try these Yuden disks, too. |

I use exclusively Sony CD-Rs and DVD-Rs mainly because I've had only 1 fail ever, and that was my fault vs. the disc's fault, and they're cheap.
I'll try Taiyo-Yuden next, when I run out of the 200 plus blank discs I already have!

Those "Yuden" discs sound a lot like, "Juden."
I'm surprised no one has picked up on that, and tried to get them to change the name or something. |

This leads to the question..........How old is your oldest CD-R? Does it still work?
I don't think I have any blank media older than 5 years. It works. |
