i think theyre is some thing really unsavory about the korean hagwon ideology.... Crying or Very sad .Comming from a school with many foreigners to an all korean school, I have been able to view this with much objectivity...if
you really think of the paradigm of its entire context..and the aberrance in the mind menality of most foreigners that work there, its really disturbing. If you look at it like a social hiearachy and social struture then it becomes congruent to the lowest socio-economic status in the USA.
Futhermore, the USA education system is based on the democratic system, not class structure or social status like Korea. Futhermore, you can see this aberrance increased, when you look at American Family sociolization issues.Futhermore, with less emphasis on specializated degrees ( non-math and sceince)....and more emphasis on creativity as opposed to logical then you just increase your chances of a basic liberal arts degree.so really your increasing the chances of a unqualified teacher coming into the hawgon system...thus bringing this aberrance in mind set.....thoughts anyone?????

You and lowpo should start a blog or a podcast. I'd subscribe to that in a second.

OP, could you repeat that please? I didn't get it the first time. You're a university graduate? I wonder if university lecturers back home chuckle about the truly woeful essays as they describe them to their friends...

They do. I worked in the history department at my uni. I remember one essay in particular the profs thought was hilarious.

"The Blacks, Whites, And Chinamen will Unite together With One Purpose, One Goal, One Aim."

I forget what else, but it used the word Chinamen several times and, if I recall correctly, a fair amount of near-Victorian English.

As part of my MA req., I was required to coteach a couple of classes, including an intro lit class. Marking some of those papers was a laugh and a half, but thankfully none of them were as atrocious as this posting.

Yes, I am a university graduate and no this wasnt an essay topic for a literature. Its based off the objectivety of every day observations. I simply wanted peoples opnions. But, ovbiously you people dont have any logical ideas with the korean ideology.Woeful> Maybe, it is subjected to some criticism but, when it looks at its context, it is the absoulute truth. I was a Sociology major, and I am not pleased with having to break this down so marginally for you people.

Huh?

The US education system reproduces the existing class structure, which is inherently racist, classist, sexist, ageist and homophobic.

Um...are you a native speaker of English? 'cause I will address your post differently if you are....

Non-native speaker response:

You see, writers use writing to communicate -- this concept involves making one's meaning as clear as possible. Writers practice, often for years, making their ideas as clear and simple to read as possible, so as not to lose their meaning, and their readers. When there are too many mechanical problems with a piece of writing, the reader is no longer able to focus on the ideas, as the reader is distracted by the errors. In your next draft, try to focus on using simpler sentences that have fewer errors -- in a later draft we can go back and add a variety of sentence-lengths, but for now, clarity is more important than sentence variety....

However, if you ARE a native speaker of English:

Dude, no one will talk to you because you write like an idiot -- and then popping back and claiming

Quote:

But, ovbiously you people dont have any logical ideas with the korean ideology.Woeful>

Your prose is woeful. Your post looks like my friends used to sound when they would get really stoned and then start talking to me about some "deep $h1t." I wasn't stoned, so I could hear it for the garbled crap it was, and they would get angry that I "just couldn't appreciate" their insights....

Come back, try again with something resembling a coherent thought, and I will happily respond. Until then, lay off the mind "enhancing" substances....
