So I talked to my bro the other day and he asked for North Korean money as a Christmas gift and i was wondering if anyone knew where the heck i coudl find this. Also requested was the liquor with a snake in the bottle (anyone know where i can find this?) and some sort of cool Korean wine. Aside from Soju (which my body punishes me for drinking) and mockali, I've not tried much in the way of Korean spirits. Can anyone recommend an upscale rice wine or some sort of Korean liquor to bring home to the fam? |

I have a gift set sitting next to me to be wrapped that is apparently very good. Korean Raspberry Wine...Bokbunja (복분자). The particular brand my friend and her husband prefer is Bokbunjajoo 보해복분자. I'm not sure if it's just raspberry flavored wine or wine made from raspberry juice instead of grapes. They highly recommend it. |

No clue about the snake liquor, but I'm sure your brother wouldn't know the difference if you just sent him some won. It says Bank of Korea, no mention of North or South. I don't think you can get Nork currency outside of the DPRK.
Besides, it's fun to send someone a man won bill and have their eyes widen when they see all the zeros. |
