I got the forms from Canadian Immigration today, purchased the money order to pay the fees, and got the finger prints done today at the police office. However, I have a couple questions. First, should I put my home address in Canada or address here in Seoul on the form? Second, do you have submit Korean immigration a sealed copy of the results when renewing my visa? Also, for those who finished it, how long did it take to get your results back? I was told to wait about two months. Two months is fine with me, considering my contract is valid for 3 more months. |

The RCMP website says about four months. I assume that with the added paperwork involved, it will take longer. |

If it takes 4 months to do, then what happens when my contract expires? Will immigration at least approve my renewal if I can prove I'm waiting for the results to come ? I do have a criminal check with me, however it is not supported by finger prints. I think providing teachers some time for the results to be returned is the least they can do. |
