Ok, let's start off in the beginning-men are hard wired to have multiple partners. We are made to have a ton of sperm, we can do it often and we have the desire to do it often. Also, we can do it in pretty much any situation. Women on the other hand (not saying that they do not like having sex any less) are made to be more monogamous. They can only have one egg at a time, and it is in their own best interests to be able to have one guy to be with her and to help take care of her. Evolution aside now...
No, you are not cheating by having thoughts. No matter how strong your relationship is, you will always, always, always fantasize and be attracted to other women. In fact, if you were not, THAT would be strange. If you find yourself constantly attracted to other people and even questioning your desire for who you are with, THEN that might be telling you something.
On the issue of actually cheating, I agree with your opinions. It's not even the fact that they have had sex, but it's like they are lying to their partner. Now like I said before, men are hard wired to have multiple partners and so some adults in monogamous relationships make the decision with their spouses to have sex with other people (swingers). For some, this works out great.
Anyway, thats my 2 cents. |
