I want to rip a couple of dvds. I have a program (handbrake) (I'm also using a mac) that will convert a dvd to xvid, avi, mkv, ogm, or mp4. which do you recommend. I want a high quality copy.

Not sure if this is the perfect sol'n or not, but:

Quote:
1. use mactheripper to copy the movies to your hard drive.
2. use DVD2oneX to compress the movies so they fit on a DVD-R.

I have a 'friend' who has a mac and uses MacTheRipper to copy the movie, and 'he' found a copy of Toast Titanium online to download. It compresses the copy onto dvd and burns using an external burner ('he' has a laptop).
